Introducing GOOGLE SLIDES by Peter Curran

The Combined Arts Team introduced our Chromebook-toting WMS students to the powerful presentation tool: GOOGLE SLIDES.

As part of the school-wide SLICE OF PIE initiative from the WMS Technology Team, in which each department tackles a different Google App (GAFE), this lesson will encourage students to utilize the multi-media functions of Google Slides.

Our 8th graders are off and running. Their challenge: to identify an artist whose style relates to their own. First step: defining "artistic style." ​

The floors are clean, the shelves are cleared, the supplies are neatly labeled... I give it a week! The new year is always ripe with the promise of creativity-to-come. So much potential and untapped imagination just waiting to be unleashed! 

The first few days are a little wonky, in terms of scheduling, but we'll be back in the swing of things in no time.
